Keep flying with us in Red Kite Fly@Home virtual classes:
Shakespeare & Autism, Drama Time, and Art Class.
Spring Classes begin the last week of April
Sign up here each week for class!
Dates open for registration: Friday July 3rd and 10th
Red Kite Fly@Home: Shakespeare & Autism Tuesdays: 3pm-4pm (NO CLASS THIS WEEK)
The Hunter Heartbeat Method is a series of sensory drama games that utilize the heartbeat rhythm of Shakespeare’s plays and larger than life characters to engage the social and communicative barriers of autism. This class is specifically designed for neurodiverse learners and adapted for an online learning experience.
Red Kite Fly@Home: Drama Time Thursdays: 3pm-4pm (NO CLASS THIS WEEK)
For anyone with autism that is cooped up in the house, come play some drama games online with your Red Kite friends! This class is designed with specialized lesson plans to help you move your body, get out some of that pent up energy, and have fun playing imagination games.
Red Kite Fly@Home: Art Class Fridays: 3pm-4pm July 3rd, July 10th
We're bringing the art studio into your home, in our Red Kite Art Class with Ms. Caleigh! Students will explore themes like Space and Nature, using many objects in and around the home as tools and inspiration for art-making.
Pay-What-You-Can Pricing: Due to the unprecedented challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic, for a limited time CCT is offering these classes at a “Pay-What-You-Can,” basis (suggested donation is $15 per class).
These classes are taught by Red Kite teaching artists and are specifically designed for neurodiverse students to experience in a live stream class. Sign up here each week for class. Once you register, we will email you the link to log into class at the start time. Since we are not in the room with students, we recommend a family member help facilitate your child's participation when needed. We look forward to seeing you in the Drama Time circle!
