This application is for paint/roof color changes. If an approved Paint/Roof Color Review application is on file, no approval shall be required to repaint the exterior of a structure or apply a new roof of similar material with the originally approved color scheme. If an approved Paint/Roof Color Review application is NOT on file, one must be filed with the ARC for review and approval before proceeding to paint. NOTE: A change of roof MATERIAL requires a Minor Change application and fee (see page 24 of the Design Guidelines for further details).
The following is required for a complete submission:
- Complete Paint Application (confirmed submission once this form is completed)
- Manufacturer’s chips, if the color pallet varies from previously approved application
- All Paint/Color applications must include a front, exterior photo of the house and manufacturer paint chips; for New Construction applications, roof samples must also be included
- $125 Paint/Color Change Review fee
Paint chips and roof samples may be mailed to or dropped off at Bald Head Association, ARC Department (mail to: PO Box 3030, Bald Head Island, NC 28461 or drop off at: 111 Lighthouse Wynd, Bald Head Island, NC 28461).
