In 2021 the City of Chicago is launching a multi-year investment in infrastructure improvements across the City. The need for skilled tradespeople on the projects connected to these improvements will be greater than ever.
The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership (The Partnership) runs the largest public workforce development network in the nation and is the umbrella organization operating the public workforce system in the City of Chicago and Cook County. The Partnership is working directly with contractors to fill positions created by City investments. The Partnership and organizations aligned with its goal of creating opportunities for skilled tradespeople who have been historically underrepresented in the industry are preparing candidates to secure employment on these vital projects.
If you are a skilled tradesperson or are interested in working on these projects, please complete the form below, and The Partnership will begin your screening and hiring process. If you need training in a construction-related occupation, you will be connected to the appropriate resources.
