Hospitality Hires Chicago 2025: The Eighth Year is a Great Year

 The 8th Annual Hospitality Hires Chicago, a Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership production, on Tuesday April 15, 2025 from 9 am to 3 pm! This year’s event will once again be held at the Palmer House Hilton Hotel, 17 East Monroe Street, Chicago.

Hospitality Hires Chicago is an opportunity for employers and pre-screened job seekers to meet and interview. Working with Chicago and Cook County’s premier workforce agencies, HHC provides employers with an opportunity to take a strategic approach to finding your next best hire and for job seekers to find their next best employment opportunity. 

To date, HHC events have helped more than 1,000 people get hired or secure conditional job offers and have provided more than 400 employers with access to more than a thousand pre-screened work-ready candidates. Employers from hospitality & tourism, retail, transportation, food services, customer service, and related sectors attend and are committed to hiring hundreds of local residents.

Event Coverage Information (day of event):

Each registration entitles the employer to 1 event table, with 2 interviewers present.

Employer Commitment

No later than 2 weeks following the event, each participating employer will receive an Excel spreadsheet containing the names of each job seeker with whom the employer met. We require the outcome of each individual job seeker to be provided. If your sheet does not list everyone your team met with, please list any additional job seekers on the sheet, along with their outcomes. We required 30-60-90 days tracking.

Future Support Opportunities

a. On-the-Job Training (OJT) - Employer is reimbursed up to 50% of a new hire's wages for individuals hired who need additional assistance (training) acclimating to job requirements. *
b. Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) - Employer provides customized training support for current employees who need updated credentials or job up-skilling: employer is reimbursed up to 100% of the training costs. *
c. Credentialing classes to include Apprenticeship and other industry specific training programs. *
d. Hiring/Recruiting Assistance - Referrals of pre-screened employment candidates based on position requirements and job description(s), and/or facilitate hiring events. *
