Session I Class Topics will include:
Skeletal System - Students will study different kinds of animal bones and skulls and do a fun craft which will demonstrate how animal spines are differnt from humans.
Muscular System - Discover how various animals have different muscles, giving them advantages for survival in different habitats.
Circulatory System - How does the heart work and how does it make blood flow all throughout the body? Studnts will learn all about bloodflow, veins, and arteries which is essential knowledge for a veterinarian to understand.
Nervous System - Learn all about how the brain controls the body and how nerves help animals feel and explore the world around them. We will also understand creatures who do not have such complex nervous systems and theoretically do not feel pain the same way other animals do.
Integumentary System - This is the part of the body which covers an animal. Skin is the largest organ on the human body. Students will learn all about skin, fur, scales, and so much more!
