which includes hands-on kits for 2 classes delivered to the student’s home.

Week 1: Habitats and Responsible Pet Ownership: Students will look at the world’s major habitats and understand why certain animals must have that environment. Responsible pet ownership is very closely connected to an animal’s habitat—students will explore this connection.
Week 2: Pollination: About 1 out of every 3 bites of food exist because of our precious pollinators. Students will learn about what pollination is and why it is so important through a fun, hands-on activity!
Week 3: Zoonotic Disease: Certain diseases cross species. Veterinarians keep people safe by controlling disease in animals. This lecture will focus on types of zoonotic disease and outbreaks and how to control these diseases.
Week 4: Scoop on Poop: We all know that everyone poops - but if you think all animal poop is the same you’re in for a big surprise! Learn about the differences between various animals poop and how they make it, and how veterinarians use fecal samples to diagnose illnesses in this fun and informative class!
Week 5: The Odd Octopus: One of the most intelligent animals on the planet, these creatures are capable of amazing things. Join us to learn about what an octopus can do with its cephalopod bod!
