Teleclasses will meet online once per week on Tuesdays for ages k-5th

Week 1: Exotics Around the World
Have you ever heard of an axolotl? Or a kakapo? These animals look as unusual as their names sound! Students will learn about fascinating animals they never knew existed!
Week 2: What in the world are Tardigrades?
Students learn about this amazing microscopic organism which can survive in all sorts of environments that are too extreme for most others and make their own adorable tardigrade to hang-up at home!
Week 3: Breed Bonanza: Canine
Man’s best friend comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. Different breeds offer a variety of traits that make every canine breed very unique. Look into the world of dog breeds, both big and small, to see the amazing things each one can offer!
Week 4: Ticks, Tweezers, and Prickly Things
Veterinarians remove all kinds of things from patients. They must learn to remove ticks, bot flies, and even prickly plants from their patients’ fur and skin. VIT students will learn to use their removal skills on simulated (patients included in their kit) during this super fun and interactive online lab class!
Week 5: The Facts on Ferrets
Students will learn all about these fun and fascinating creatures with our Vets in Training educator and our friendly ferrets, Harvey and Georgina!
