Winter 2025!
This winter students at Vets in Training will engage in 2 fabulous units focused on animals.
Winter session 1 will focus on Art with Animals! Over the years we have developed a fun and interesting series of art projects focused on animals and learning about their habitats, bodies, and enrichment.
During winter session 2 our students will do a series all about the animals at Vets in Training. Each week will focus on a different animal and include games and activities to help students learn the specific adaptations and differences between all the VIT pets.
Session I class dates: 12/1 - 1/22
Session II will run consecutively through the weeks of: January 27th to February 28th

Tuesday 10:30-11:30
Surgery Observation Class at
HousePaws Animal Hospital Mt Laurel. During this class students will tour the hospital, meet the staff, observe hospital procedures, and surgery. Veterinarians and technicians will explain to the students various steps to animal care including anesthesia, dental procedures, x-ray, ultrasound, and surgery.
Wednesday 11:30-1:30
This is our advanced veterinary medicine class. Students will get a first hand look at veterinary studies including uisng mircroscopes, lab tests, and surgical tools. This class will include a surgery simulation in which students will do everything the doctors and techs do in the hospital on a specially made animal dummy. Students will also learn about the reasons behind euthanasia and why it is such an important part of veterinary medical practices.
Dual Class Option
Taking both the Tuesday and Wednesday classes together will provide students with a well rounded understanding of veterinary medicine. Discounts available for registering for the dual Tuesday/Wednesday class.
