The cost for a 5-week session is $59, which includes hands-on kits for 2 classes delivered to the student’s home.

Teleclasses meet online once per week on Tuesdays 4:00-5:00pm EST

Week 1: Animal Behavior: Body language is an important way that animals communicate with us! Students will learn the meaning of different animal behaviors and the appropriate ways to react!

Week 2: Sloths: We see images of sloths everywhere - they have become one of the world’s most popular animals, but what do we know about these fascinating, slow-moving creatures? Join us as we explore the world of sloths! Students will make their own adorable sloth to hang up at home!

Week 3: Pet sitting: Life is full of “What-ifs.”Before watching someone else’s animal, it is important to have a plan for common situations that can crop up. This class will outline plans for many common pet-sitting issues.

Week 4: Intro to Dentistry: Veterinarians can do a wide array of dental procedures. Students will learn about the basics of veterinary dentistry, including common ailments, tools, and procedures.

Week 5: Veterinary Acupuncture: Students will be on pins and needles waiting to learn more about how veterinarians use this traditional Chinese medical modality to help heal patients.
