Students should prepare for many special visitors AND unique activities! Our classes are perfect for all students, Pre-K through 12th grade, who love animals, science and learning.

Check out this session’s class schedule:
Week 1: Have you ever heard of me? Exotic Animals Around the World: Delve into the wild, wonderful, and downright bizarre as we learn about unique and obscure animal species from around the world.
Week 2: **Residents, Interns, and Homeschool** Cats are Special: Think you know all there is to know about felines? Think again! This lesson focuses on common medical problems for cats and how these are treated.
Week 3: Meet the Sugar Gliders: Students will learn all about these unique creatures and get to spend time with Sorrel and Clementine, the sugar gliders that live at our Vets in Training Education Center and learn their nutritional needs by preparing them a meal!
Week 4: **Residents, Interns, and Homeschool**: Wellness Protocols Every animal is different but wellness protocols are developed to outline the basic principles to help veterinarians make sure pets live long healthy lives. We will look at wellness protocols for various species and design a wellness protocol for one of our resident animals.
Week 5: Animal Adaptations: Why do hedgehogs have spines and fish have scales? Students will learn about how adaptations help a variety of species survive and thrive through some fun, hands on experiments!
