It is the traveler’s responsibility to protect their purchases and Travel Insurance is strongly recommended by the Travel Agency. Insurance protects the traveler(s), the trip, and the travel investment. The traveler and his/her travel party is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage. Information is available through this Travel Agency regarding travel insurance. Traveler understands that should he/she elect to purchase travel insurance, the terms of the policy will dictate whether, and to what extent, coverage for any financial loss may exist under the circumstances. Moreover, Traveler acknowledges that should he/she decline to purchase travel insurance, the traveler(s) assume sole financial liability for all direct and indirect consequences and costs resulting from events occurring before or during the trip. Purchased travel arrangements do not automatically contain insurance unless it is clearly stated that such insurance is included in the price. Furthermore, this acknowledgement remains valid if the Travel Agency did not separately offer the Traveler(s) the opportunity to buy travel insurance for services or products bought and did not clarify the possible consequences of not having such insurance.
