St. Ambrose Religious Education Registration 2022 - 2023

Students must successfully complete this year's course requirements
with an overall score of 70% or higher BEFORE registering for the next year.
 
This form is for our Online Homeschool option only. Our Homeschool classes are available for grades 1, 3, 4, 5 & 6.  Sacramental prep years including grades 2, 7 & 8 must be attended in-person.

Course access begins October 3rd, 2022.  All coursework is to be completed by May 24, 2023.
 
The online courses are entirely asynchronous/self-paced. Children learn better when time is invested in their lessons with parent engagment. 
 
Tuition
$75 per child
$205 for three or more children
 
 
 
Eligibility Requirements
All students enrolled in Religious Education at St. Ambrose Catholic Church must be registered members of the parish, or provide a letter from their pastor granting permission for them to be enrolled in Religious Education at St. Ambrose.  Priority is given to St. Ambrose parishioners.
 
Families registered with nearby parishes may register after August 15, provided space is available.
 
Baptismal Certificates
When a student is enrolled in Religious Education at St. Ambrose for the first time, a copy of their Baptismal Certificate must be provided to be kept in their records.  This copy will suffice as proof of Baptism for the reception of First Penance, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.  The address of the church of baptism must also be provided, if not printed on the certificate.  Baptismal Certificates must be provided before course access will be granted.
 
Transfer Students
Students who transfer from another parish religious education program must provide record of their last grade completed, attendance, grades (if applicable), and any Sacraments received.  These records should be submitted as soon as possible and nmust be provided before course access will be granted.  Students without the necessesary records may be required to take a placement test prior to being assigned to a grade level.
 
Religious Education Handbook
Acknowledgement of receipt and agreement to abide by the policies and proceedures set forth in the St. Ambrose Religious Education Online Homeschool Handbook is required by all families enrolled in online Religious Ed.  A copy of this year's handbook may be downloaded at stambroseva.org/RE.
 
Payment
Payment must be made by credit or debit card at the end of this form.  All cards are processed using Authorize.net's online payment processing system.  If you are unable to pay by credit or debit card, please contact Therese Ryan, Director of Religious Education, at 703-280-1122 or tryan@stambroseva.org.  Registration is not complete without payment.
