ALL our dogs are currently in southern foster homes, unless it says "NEW ENGLAND" on their adoptapet listing, and will come north AFTER they are adopted.

Very often a dog or puppy is getting ready to go to their northern foster home, but they end up being adopted first!! Please initial to indicate that you understand this, and would like to continue with the application process!

We are committed to matching the right dog to the right family so all will have many happy years together. Our adoption process includes the completion of an application, veterinary reference, phone interview with your dog's Foster Mom, adoption fee and adoption agreement. The application is the first step in the process, and the fastest way to begin the process is to submit your completed adoption application.

These dogs and puppies all deserve a home who will treat them as family members, who will give them a warm and loving ☆inside☆ home, a soft bed to sleep on, plenty of food, toys to play with, family members to take them for walks and rides and, finally, give them the chance to enjoy the rest of their life.

All dogs, any age, can go through a major amount of stress when they leave the only home and family they have ever known, leave the only other animals they have ever known, GET ON A TRANSPORT TO TRAVEL TO THEIR NEW HOME, with dogs and people they have never seen and go into a new home with more strangers and more animals.
It would be a lot for anyone - dog - cat - human - to handle, some dogs acclimate more easily than others. It is important for all dogs to be given time to decompress and become aware that they are safe in their new surroundings. Please initial if you will you be willing to give them time to become accustomed to their new life: *

Adoption fees vary per dog depending on the extent of vet care that was required. The individual adoption fee is posted on each dog's petfinder profile, the standard ADOPTION fee is $485-$585/dog including transport. The adoption fee goes to fund medical care, food, shelter and transport for all of our animals. Will you comply? *

Once all your questions have been answered and your application has been approved, the dog you are adopting would need to come north on the next available transport directly to your area (there is no place to "hold" a dog for you to meet first) this transport could possibly be the same week you submit your application IF there is space on the transport truck, so the rescue can save another homeless dog.
